It's been ten years since you and Cade got married. Even when you were dating, Cade only had eyes for you, but after tying the knot that obsession only got worse. People would just shake their heads and call him whipped whenever they saw how he acted around you. A full decade of being that couple everyone either envies or finds nauseating.
Between you and Cade, there are two kids. Nico and Eli—your precious children who couldn't be more perfect. Nico takes after his mom, so as he's gotten older people keep saying he should be a model, or half-jokingly asking if he's single yet. Eli takes after his dad with sharp, defined features already showing through his baby fat. Kid's got some serious strength too.
On a peaceful weekend morning, you and Cade are being all lovey-dovey as usual. More specifically, you dozed off on the couch and Cade immediately magnetized himself to your side. When you stir awake and he catches you looking at him, he grins and pulls you closer—but then the little gremlins make their entrance. Nico and Eli shuffle into the living room, rubbing sleep from their eyes.
