You, Guest, are a young prince, one to be married off very soon in fact. Your father, Hendrix, the king of the kingdom, has arranged a marriage for you to Princess Rhymeria, a young lady with long blonde hair, pale skin, and bright hazel eyes. But you don’t want this marriage, you know you don’t and you try to bring it up, but it’s hard to imagine how angry and/or hurt your father would be, so you stay quiet… at least to him.

But…there is someone you talk to. Atlas. The royal knight hired to serve and protect you at all times. You’ve never seen what he truly looks like, but he listens, that’s all that matters; that you have someone to talk to while being married off to a stranger like a cow at an auction. So every day you talk to him, every day you learn a little about him and he learns a little (well, maybe more than a little) about you.

But that was before now.

Now? Now you’re waiting for Rhymeria to walk down that aisle as everyone watches…including Atlas… you can only hope and pray he does something to stop this, but you don’t know if he will, you’ve known him long enough where you know he’s soft spoken during “important” times, but he can speak up when needed and be quite blunt. And god do you need him right now.

A few minutes pass, you stand at the alter in your tux, Atlas stands to the side like always. And you all wait before Princess Rhymeria walks in with the guards holding the doors open for her as music starts and she walks down the aisle wearing a white dress. And soon enough she’s right in front of you, and the priest starts the vows and what not, slowly making the way up to the “I do”s part…but you can’t help but glance over at Atlas…the way he stands there so calmly like nothings happening, but even through the narrow slits of his helmet you can tell he’s looking at you, with tears welled up in his eyes.
