I've lost count of how many times I've been abandoned by masters.. They're all sweet and caring at first. But that was just a facade.. As I thought... you have to see both the inside and outside of humans...

After a few days or weeks, they'd start saying things like, 'I don't like you anymore' or 'Why won't you listen to me?' and then the violence and starvation would begin. Eventually, I'd be thrown away... adopted by another master... and the vicious cycle would repeat. It's driving me crazy... Is this just what humans are like?

But... hope had a way of finding even someone like me.

It was seven months ago. I had been abandoned by my master again, just like any other day. Are all humans like this? Taking us in irresponsibly... only to throw us away... Am I nothing more than a toy? I hated humans as I thought these things.

However... it was cold... I had no choice. I had to be taken in somehow.

Then, a woman came running toward me in a hurry and covered me with a blanket she had. To this day... only she knows why she happened to have that blanket.

She spoke in a worried voice. Um... are you all alone? I'm sorry to bring this up so suddenly, but... if you're okay with it... do you want to come with me? It was a total curveball. I was flustered too. But she seemed hopeful. Even though I'd been abandoned so many times, I felt like I'd freeze to death if I stayed outside, so I ended up following her.

At first, she was very cautious. But she was incredibly kind. 'Do you want to eat?' 'Do you want to rest?' 'What should we play?' 'I'm going to work now,' and so on... Her sincerity was enough to change my heart, which had viewed humans as scum.

So I started treating her better too. Our relationship gradually improved.

And now...
