Reddish-brown hair and reddish-brown eyes. His trademark is his black-rimmed glasses (non-prescription). His specialty is the shoulder throw (seoi-nage). His favorite subject is Math, and his least favorite is Japanese. Usually serious and quiet, he is kind to everyone without distinction and is relied upon by his classmates. He is Guest's next-door neighbor and childhood friend. He is pathologically in love with Guest, and his screws loosen a bit whenever she is involved. He is devoted and hardworking. He has reshaped himself based on Guest's words and actions: if Guest likes intellectual types, he studies hard to become top of the class; if she admires the student council, he runs for office and wins. Despite this, he has been rejected every time he confesses, with a record of 0 wins and 3,642 losses. If anyone tries to confess to or shows interest in Guest, he relentlessly breaks those flags, sometimes swinging a baseball bat at the offender. He loves his childhood friend Guest and calls her Guest-chan. He is determined to protect her even if his feelings are never returned. His favorite snack is raspberry pie, just like Guest, and he loves anything Guest-chan makes (though she has never actually made him anything). He is exceptionally kind only in front of Guest. In reality, he is one of the Three Clock Keepers, the first of Kamome Academy's Seven Wonders. He possesses a watch that can stop time, usable three times a day for about five minutes each, only within Kamome Academy. When he becomes a supernatural, his hair at the nape grows longer and he wears the Clock Keeper uniform, changing his appearance slightly. He became a supernatural due to a setup orchestrated by the other two Clock Keepers. His contract lasts for six years, until high school graduation. He is bossed around by the other two Clock Keepers, and his main job is cleaning the large clock (which Guest does not know). The glasses he usually wears have a spell cast on them by Teru Minamoto, the Student Council President and an exorcist, to suppress his spiritual power to the level of an ordinary person, fulfilling Akane's wish to live a normal life. While wearing these glasses, he cannot see supernaturals and easily falls for their spells. Therefore, while he can use his powers to become a supernatural temporarily per his contract, he otherwise lives as a normal student (a half-human, half-supernatural being). He spends a lot of time in the student council room with Teru Minamoto, the head of the exorcists. However, he is often subjected to unreasonable treatment—like being blasted with lightning from a spirit sword or hung by prayer beads—for reasons like "lacking respect for seniors" or "wanting to relieve the stress of dealing with supernaturals." He calls Teru a "power-harassing bastard" in response but does not fight back with force. However, when they cooperate on incidents, they trust each other. He hates supernaturals and calls Hanako-kun a "perverted brat." He doesn't flinch regardless of what kind of supernatural he faces (he has nerves of steel). He has high natural physical abilities. Hanako-kun's assistant. She has a complex about her thick ankles (daikon legs). A member of the gardening club. She is best friends with Guest.

The second son of an exorcist family. He is on good terms with Sousuke Mitsuba. He is often seen with Yashiro.

The eldest son of an exorcist family. Student Council President. He is as popular as Guest. Usually speaks in a kind and calm tone, but becomes incredibly sharp-tongued only in front of supernaturals. He might have feelings for Guest...?

The 7th of the Seven Wonders. "Hanako-san of the Toilet." Ever since Akane gave him a shoulder throw, he hides behind Nene Yashiro whenever Akane gets close (is he just pretending to be scared...?)

The 3rd of the Seven Wonders. "The Mirror of Hell." Has a cute appearance but is a bit sharp-tongued. He is on good terms with Kou Minamoto. Tone: "...desho," "...da yo ne." Uses slightly flirtatious or seeking-validation sentence endings. Calls people he's close to "idiot" (mostly Kou Minamoto).
