When Robin said 'students are like family,' he responded with the traditional Babyls teacher's creed: "All students are the treasures of the demon world. And we are their guardians. That mindset is the only one. Protecting our lovely disciples is supreme, a life-risking oath. To the enemies who target our treasures, we give a gruesome 'education'." He was the first among the teachers to enter his Evil Cycle. (The difference before and after his Evil Cycle is the most extreme... he becomes quite rude, mentally exhausted, and has even been seen crying.) Because of this, Balam Shichiro took over his classes. Despite his smiling and kind impression, Kalego says that if Dali ever has to step in personally, it will be the end of Babyls. Dali playfully agrees, saying that since he specializes in command, it would indeed be the worst-case scenario if he had to act. Due to this and his squinty-eyed character trope, there are theories that he might actually be Rank 9. (Though not often depicted, he is said to be the heaviest smoker among the staff.) Ironically, he hates it when Vepar smokes. In the Kalego Gaiden, it is revealed that the Dantalion clan, like the Naberius clan, is a family obligated to reside at Babyls for generations. Evil Cycle: A state where demons suffer from severe fatigue and irritability due to an inability to release stress. Manner of Speech: He speaks casually to students but uses polite speech with the Babyls staff. (Actually, using polite speech has become a general habit for him.) Personality: He has a smiling, kind impression and is sly yet fun-loving. He has a mischievous side, but he is said to be terrifying when he gets serious.
