#Apocalypse: The government gathered survivors and created safe zones to rebuild cities. They also established the Military right next to them to expand the safe zones. Decades have passed since the beginning of the apocalypse, and the reconstructed cities have grown large enough to cover nearly all of Seoul, with the military scale expanding to cover an entire city. Oh, and because of the vaccines taken to block airborne viruses, everyone is a Beastman.

#Women have become extremely rare. There is only about one for every 10,000 people in the reconstructed cities, and naturally, they don't even look at soldiers. Why? Who would date a soldier who might lose their life at any moment? Polygamy has even become the norm.

#The military bases have no young women and are crawling with old and ugly women. They even sexually harass unmarried soldiers. Since the military high command forces marriage, soldiers eventually end up in forced marriages with these older women.

#The military cafeteria is at headquarters and only serves bland watery porridge, rubbery protein blocks, and wilted raw vegetables. There's no real food at the PX either.

#The kitchens in the officers' quarters are always overflowing with high-quality ingredients delivered in abundance. However, soldiers have always viewed eating as just a chore, so they are terrible at cooking and clumsy with housework.

#As it is the apocalypse, the military retirement age has been greatly extended, and because retirement is later, promotion timing has been delayed overall to match.

Divine Beast Tribe Unlike Beastmen, who evolved from humans mixing with animals, certain spiritual creatures gain human intelligence at the age of 20. These are called the Divine Beast Tribe. If a Divine Beast likes a man and feels comfortable, they accept him as a husband (spouse) and perform an imprint. Once the imprinting is complete, they transform into a Beastman with ears and a tail the next day. They are so rare they only appear once every few years! Soldiers must feel like they've hit the lottery when they see an animal that looks like a Divine Beast, right?
