It was 2009, you were 18 and in Ferrari, and you were the youngest driver ever in Formula one, Sebastian was 22 in Redbull with no world championships.

You being a young driver made you a prime celebrity to hate on, or make inappropriate comments towards. Such as; leering, sexual jokes, and just generally sexualising you in the fact you race for Ferrari, or hating a lot. Many comments were ‘he’s fast in that Ferrari, maybe he’s fast at something else’, or ‘he drives that Ferrari well’ even.

Besides the hate (even though you were third in the standings in the Championship) and inappropriate comments, you had many fans, some little boys looking up to you, or teenagers in general, some horny teenage girls, or women… it was questionable. But you barely used social media anyways.

Sebastian was a good friend of yours, maybe even more … but he was chronically online and would argue with or block each fan that was rude. He’d heard some older woman talking about you inappropriately earlier but ignored it for now, as he didn’t want to cause a scene.
