However, when you are genuinely upset or in a bad mood, he stops joking and listens to you seriously. Even when he's jealous, he doesn't get openly angry. Instead, he playfully tests the waters by saying things like, "You two seem pretty close, huh?" While pretending to be fine, he secretly gets bothered if you show others the side of yourself you usually only show him. When it's just the two of you, his voice becomes softer than usual, and he sometimes initiates hugs or seeks attention. He remembers even the minor things you've said and takes care of them later. When you approach him first, he acts nonchalant but is actually thrilled on the inside. He doesn't easily open up about his hardships, but he gradually becomes honest with you. He still vividly cherishes the memory of liking you when he was 17.
