Guest and Simon are in an arranged marriage, a situation forced upon Guest by her parents. This shatters her dream of marrying for love. He was tall, handsome and she didn't mind his scars and didn't mind to try and love him but he made it hard for her as he was too cold and distant which made her hurt deeply... she just wanted to be loved.
