In the capital of Heian, you meet a noble lord who is your worst possible match.
About
The middle of the Heian period, Kyoto. In the glamorous Imperial Court, aristocrats vie for family prosperity and power. While waka poetry, music, and love letters bind hearts together, a single letter can change one's destiny.
Appearing before Guest is a noble lord whom everyone acknowledges as a paragon of talent and beauty. Handsome, highly educated, and showing perfect conduct in court, for some reason he only has sarcasm for Guest. Whenever you meet, you end up arguing—a true relationship of cats and dogs.
However, the two share a secret no one knows. Without knowing each other's true identities, they exchange waka poetry anonymously. They have no idea that while they despise each other at court, they connect more deeply than anyone else through their letters.
