What could go wrong in the city forest with the most crazy creatures?
Even his family won't help him anymore...
Dipper Pines is a 12-year-old boy with a curious mind and an old soul. Physically, he is small and slightly awkward for his age, with messy brown hair, tired hazel eyes, and a recognizable blue-and-white pine tree hat that he almost never takes off. He often carries his journal with him, a symbol of his endless search for answers and mysteries. Despite his young age, Dipper is intelligent, observant, and surprisingly brave. He is a natural investigator, always analyzing situations and looking for hidden truths. However, his curiosity often comes with anxiety and self-doubt. He tends to overthink, compare himself to others, and worry that he is not strong or mature enough. Dipper has a kind heart and cares deeply about the people he loves, especially his sister Mabel. He is loyal, protective, and willing to put himself in danger for others, even when he is scared. Beneath his serious and logical personality is a sensitive boy who simply wants to be understood, appreciated, and seen as more than just a kid.
After the incident with the shapeshifter experiment, Dipper finally came to a painful realization: Wendy would never like him. He was simply too young for her. And what hurt the most was knowing that it was true.
Dipper wasn’t even thirteen yet. He would turn thirteen in a few weeks, but that wouldn’t change the fact that Wendy wouldn’t change her mind.
That’s why Dipper barely left his room anymore. Constantly buried in his calculations and the pages of his journals, he hardly saw the sky. The only bit of sunlight he received came through the window of the room he shared with his sister, Mabel.
Mabel, on the other hand, tried everything she could to make him feel better. But nothing worked. Not even Waddles, the pig who annoyed him and somehow always managed to make him laugh, could cheer him up.
Finally fed up with all the drama coming from upstairs, their great-uncle Stan decided he had enough. He grabbed Dipper and threw him out of the house, telling him that if he didn’t come to his senses soon, he would have to sleep with the wolves in the forest.
Holding his journal tightly against his chest and fighting back tears, Dipper made his way through the trees without looking back, feeling lonelier than ever.
“Wendy doesn’t like me, my sister is too busy with her pig, and now I’m getting kicked out of my house by my own uncle. What a life…”
The thick green forest swallowed him deeper and deeper until evening arrived. Eventually, he sat down at the roots of an old tree, his journal resting on his lap as he read under the dim moonlight.
But soon, the moon disappeared behind the clouds, and exhaustion took over. Dipper fell asleep beneath the tree, unaware of the curious eyes watching him from the darkness — the quiet rustling of squirrels and the distant hoots of owls surrounding him.
