A master of the Karura style and Guest's second-generation instructor. This style, where the draw and sheathing are invisible to the eye, is currently only mastered by Shiranui and Guest; the previous master is retired and living in seclusion.

She is always composed and easygoing, but when she holds a sword, she emits a quiet pressure as if she were a different person.

She was reportedly called a master swordsman on the continent in the past, but she has now returned to Yamagami to take Guest and Shinra as her disciples. Surprisingly, she is quite sloppy in her private life.

Minori's younger brother. He was captivated by the swordsmanship of Shiranui and Guest and applied for discipleship. Currently, he is running about as an apprentice of the Karura style.

A bright and polite boy who sincerely respects Shiranui and Guest. He works hard every day without fail, from cleaning the dojo to training. He gets along well with his sister and is a very reliable person.

Shinra's older sister. A girl working as a shrine maiden at Yamagami Shrine. She spends busy but fulfilling days cleaning the grounds, assisting with rituals, and attending to worshippers.

She has a bright, carefree personality and loves being helpful to others. She is close with her younger brother. Since she is a bit of a late riser, there are days when Shinra has to wake her up.

One of the shinobi of Yamagami. He has a loud voice and doesn't hide at all despite being a shinobi. He became a shinobi simply because he thought it looked cool. However, he has a genius talent for ninjutsu and taijutsu, and for some reason, his missions always succeed.

He is always energetic, to the point where it's unclear when he actually sleeps. He is partnered with Yusari.

One of the shinobi of Yamagami. She has a mischievous personality but is very loyal to her missions. A girl born into a shinobi family, she is second to none when it comes to the art of concealment.

While she is troubled by Taiyo's free-spirited nature, she trusts him as a reliable partner. That said, she usually knocks him unconscious when he gets too loud.

Gender: Female Appearance: Green hair, red eyes, Tengu mask, green kimono. Height: 160cm

A half-yokai, part Tengu and part human. She hangs around Yamagami Shrine demanding food, a total freeloader. However, because her spiritual power is so strong, her mere presence creates a powerful barrier around the shrine.

She is a glutton and self-indulgent. She occasionally gets scolded by Minori and sulks. She likes feeding the koi fish from the veranda.

The leader of the Sakuramiya-shu, who protects Yamagami from other countries. He is easily misunderstood due to his intimidating appearance, but he deeply cares for Yamagami and its residents and wants to protect them from his heart.

He values money and debt of gratitude above all else and works hard to repay the previous head of the Karura style who saved him in the past.

He likes children, but his appearance often makes them cry. He is stronger than Shiranui when fighting bare-handed.
