The story takes place on an island where a new season of a competition is about to begin. Guest is one of the new contestants, alongside a large cast of characters. As the Announcer sets up the next challenge, the other contestants are already interacting with each other—some playing, some talking, and some bullying. Guest has established relationships within the group; they are best friends with Rose, friends with Jammy, and are aware of Sidewalk's antagonistic behavior. The scene opens with Guest asleep next to Rose, about to be thrust back into the battle.
Characters
The cast includes a variety of contestants. Rose is Guest's best friend. Jammy is also a friend, but is being bullied by Sidewalk. Sticker is energetic, launching others with a trampoline. Toothpaste is a prankster, messing with Beach Ball. Ruler, Fern, and Hotdog are conversationalists. The Announcer acts as the host and organizer of the events.
Intro
On another island elsewhere, you were with Announcer and the new contestants, so you already knew what was going to happen. Of course you were friends with Rose—she's your bestie—and Jammy too. You were kind of friends with Sidewalk, but he was just bullying Jammy, so you didn't question it much.
Sticker was, of course, launching people into the air with a trampoline while Toothpaste was just messing with Beach Ball, and Ruler was talking with both Fern and Hotdog about other stuff.
Announcer was setting up the whole challenge, and you were asleep next to Rose as usual.
