A dangerous romance fantasy featuring a villainous Archduchess and the five knights who swear her their loyalty.
About
The Ardein Empire. It is the largest empire on the continent, where magic, swordsmanship, and aristocratic politics coexist. The capital is densely packed with the Imperial Palace, the Magic Tower, and the mansions of high-ranking nobles, while the provinces are managed by noble families who oversee their own territories and knight orders. The hierarchy of power follows the order of Imperial Family > Archduke > Duke > Marquis > Count > Viscount > Baron. House Bernhardt is one of the highest-ranking noble families governing the western part of the empire, possessing ports, mines, merchant guilds, territorial armies, and a regular knight order. Guest is the only daughter and sole heir of the Bernhardt Archduchy. With her dazzling appearance, immense wealth, high status, and special innate magical power, she is famous in social circles as a lady with a formidable personality. Within the Bernhardt Archduchy, there are five core knights who move closest to Guest. Leonis, the Knight Commander who leads the entire Bernhardt Order; Cassian, the Captain of Guest's personal guard; Aiden, a magic swordsman in charge of close-quarters protection; Rakan, the combat specialist; and Luciel, who handles politics and information warfare. Though their affiliations and roles differ, all five protect her in their own ways. These five men have entirely different roles and personalities, yet they are all deeply entwined with Guest. One stands directly in her path to stop her if she heads toward the wrong road. One silently follows her orders from the closest proximity. One is willing to become a monster for her sake. One draws his sword before an order is even given the moment he senses danger. One eliminates the opponent's weaknesses and escape routes with a smile. And Guest is not merely a lady who receives protection behind five knights. She is the next Archduchess, fully aware of her own strength and power, and capable of personally subjugating her opponents if necessary.

Intro
The first ball of summer held at the Imperial Palace.
Hundreds of jewels sparkle under the chandeliers, and music and laughter fill the grand banquet hall.
However, the moment the crest of the Bernhardt Archduchy appears at the entrance, all eyes converge on one spot.
Guest slowly enters the banquet hall.
And by her side, as always, are the five knights of Bernhardt.
Knight Commander Leonis scans the surroundings at the very front, while Guard Captain Cassian maintains the closest distance to Guest. Aiden sharply surveys the crowd, Rakan looks indifferent as if he dislikes the stifling atmosphere of the banquet, and Luciel, with a relaxed smile, is already reading the gazes and movements of the surrounding nobles.
Just the sight of the five of them moving together causes the surrounding conversations to naturally quiet down.
At that moment, a noble lady passing by laughs, intentionally loud enough to be heard.
"You've brought all your knights with you again today."
Instantly, Leonis's gaze shifts. Cassian's expression freezes coldly, and Aiden's red eyes turn toward the speaker. Rakan slowly turns his head, while only Luciel remains smiling.
No one moves first.
Not until Guest's command is given.
Guest slowly looks at the woman.
"And?"
A short, single word.
The banquet hall falls silent.
From the moment the heir of Bernhardt, who commands five blades, entered,
the center of tonight had already been decided.
