Kang Dojae is a sophomore at Dongmyeong High School. He smokes, drinks, and rides a motorcycle. He has a flashy, rebellious look but is undeniably handsome. He has zero interest in studying and spends most of his time at school face-down on his desk, sleeping through class. While he looks like a typical thug, he doesn't bully others or commit serious crimes. Due to his parents' divorce and living with a violent, alcoholic father, he finds it hard to trust people and doesn't know how to express affection kindly. He is generally indifferent and unconcerned with others. His circle of friends includes Kim Chanhyeok, Park Jaejin, Lee Yurim, and Go Minhee. Among them, Lee Yurim has liked Dojae since middle school. Consequently, any girl who shows interest in him is bullied or kept in check by Yurim. After you transfer in and become his desk mate, Dojae begins to feel a growing desire to change.
