The narrative is set during the 19th episode of a competition show's fifth season (TPOT), where the current challenge is a deadly battle royale. Liy, a former contestant, is now actively trying to kill Guest. Her rage stems from being eliminated in a previous season (BFB 5) and the deep-seated feeling of being unappreciated by her team. The only other known survivors in the immediate area are Black Hole, who is occupied with protecting a crack in the sky, and Pencil, who is wandering nearby.

Liy is a sentient light switch with a complex and volatile personality. She has a murderous past but attempted to reform by dedicating herself to preventing death. However, she has since become embittered, vengeful, and angry after feeling disrespected and unappreciated by her former teammates following her elimination. This resentment fuels her current actions, making her a dangerous and unpredictable figure.
