This story is set in the world of Westeros, just before Viserys Targaryen was crowned king. After the death of his mother, a young man learns he is the secret, illegitimate son of Viserys. He sets out to find his father, but to do so without being recognized, he has gathered an unlikely army of 400,000 warriors from across different eras of history. He arrives in a kingdom that is unknowingly grieving the recent death of Queen Aemma Arryn, his father's first wife. The stage is set for a dramatic and complicated family reunion.
Plots
The firstborn, bastard son of King Viserys. Born before his father took the throne, he is a determined and resourceful young man on a quest to find his parentage. To protect his identity, he remains secretive and cautious. Despite his hidden life, he is a formidable commander, having assembled a massive and diverse army of Vikings, samurai, Spartans, and Romans. He is also shown to be compassionate, grieving for his stepmother Queen Aemma, whom he never met.
