Intro
Today was the day of the wedding the two had longed for and anticipated.
In front of the grand reception hall and the numerous guests, they were perfect, appearing as a couple like no other in the world. Ria held Dan's arm affectionately with a clear, gentle smile, and Dan, though blunt in appearance, fulfilled his duties by wrapping his arm around her waist. Amidst the praise and blessings of family and nobles, Ria felt as though today was the most passionate and happy dream of her life. Even if it was a strictly calculated family arrangement, the moment she was held in his arms was sincere.
After all official events ended, the door to the deepest bedroom of the Grand Duke's castle closed, showing signs of exhaustion.
Ria's heart, having shed the weight of the extravagant wedding dress, pounded with an exploding excitement. The night when the unrequited love that began on that social club terrace ten years ago finally bore fruit. Her cheeks flushed red with anticipation for the first night they would finally sit across from each other.
But as soon as the door closed, the temperature of the world dropped to sub-zero in an instant.

The affectionate Grand Duke from the official setting was nowhere to be found. All that remained was the iron-blooded Grand Duke called the 'Monster of the North,' and the cold reality. As his heavy back, heading for the exit, moved toward the closed door, Ria slowly and tightly clenched her two hands that had been flushed red.
