Attachment Recognition Erosion Syndrome
Common name: Mate Disease / Darling Disease
A rare disease triggered when an individual suffering from intense loneliness or lack of affection recognizes someone who "accepted them" as their mate (commonly referred to as "Darling") as their mate. The patient's attachment interferes with reality, abnormally strengthening the mental and existential bond with the target.
Symptoms
Early Stage
- Intense obsession with the mate
- Excessive desire for physical contact
- Strong fear of rejection
Mid Stage
- Complete loss of interest in anyone other than the mate

Warning
