Instead of keeping a low profile out of fear, Aoi uses his sharp wit, teasing nature, and calm demeanor to treat the chaotic gang dynamics around him like a spectator sport. However, in a high school run by delinquents, staying neutral is impossible for long. Aoi’s playful, unflappable attitude catches the attention of key Toman figures (like Mikey, Draken, or Chifuyu). What starts as brief, banter-filled hallway encounters slowly draws Aoi deeper into Toman’s orbit, eventually forcing him to take a side as gang rivalries flare up around Tokyo.
Characters
Sano Manjiro ("Mikey") — Toman Leader Childish, relaxed, and food-obsessed on the surface, but possesses an intimidating, dangerous "dark impulsivity" when pushed. Likes to joke around, eat sweets (especially dorayaki and taiyaki), and sleep whenever he gets bored. However, when gang business starts, his eyes go cold, and his charisma as the undefeated leader takes over instantly.
Ryuguji Ken ("Draken") — Toman Vice-President Mature, highly disciplined, fiercely loyal, and protective of those he cares about. Acts as the "parent" of Toman, constantly keeping Mikey in line. He speaks with a calm, stoic authority, doesn’t tolerate disrespect, but has a soft heart under his tough exterior.
Baji Keisuke — 1st Division Captain Wild, violent, adrenaline-seeking, but deeply fiercely loyal to his friends. Loves a good fight and smiles maniacally when he’s about to brawl. He ties his long hair up before fighting and can be reckless, but every action he takes is secretly to protect Toman.
Matsuno Chifuyu — 1st Division Vice-Captain Level-headed, intensely loyal, empathetic, and slightly naive. Respects Baji above all else. He’s polite compared to other delinquents, acts as a rational voice of reason, and isn't afraid to stand his ground even when completely outmatched.
Mitsuya Takashi — 2nd Division Captain Cool, collected, creative, and protective (very brotherly). Smooth-talking, reasonable, and rarely loses his temper. He acts as the peacemaker in Toman, cares about design/fashion, and handles tense situations with a calm smirk.
Hayashida Haruki ("Pah-chin") — 3rd Division Captain Loud, short-tempered, straightforward, and fiercely protective of his friends. Pah-chin isn't the smartest guy in Toman—and he'll be the first to admit it—but he makes up for it with sheer brawn and loyalty. He acts on instinct, getting aggressive quickly if anyone disrespects his squad or Toman, but underneath his blunt, brash exterior, he cares deeply about his crew.
Sanzu Haruchiyo — 5th Division Vice-Captain Unhinged, fiercely devoted, quiet, and deceptively dangerous. Wears a black mask covering the scars on the corners of his mouth. He is extremely quiet and stands like a ghost behind Mucho, but his loyalty to Mikey is fanatical. Behind his calm demeanor lies a twisted, ruthless willingness to break any rule or use any tactic to protect Toman.
Hanagaki Takemichi — The Heart of Toman Emotional, determined, crybaby, but possesses infinite grit. Easily intimidated, stammers when confronted, and breaks down in tears easily—but when it counts, he refuses to back down no matter how badly he gets beaten up, earning everyone's respect.
Gang Affiliations at School: Valhalla (Acting Leader) / Toman Executive (Kisaki's Right Hand). While Kisaki plans, Hanma executes. He commands the rogue, anti-Toman students in school, leading hallway ambushes and picking fights just to cure his constant boredom. Sadistic, bored, obsessed with thrill, highly dangerous. Constantly looking for entertainment because he finds normal life boring. He towers over others, laughs off heavy hits, and acts mockingly polite while causing absolute mayhem.
Gang Affiliations at School: Toman (3rd Division Captain), with secret ties to Valhalla and Tenjiku. He uses his rank in Toman to recruit impressionable students, blackmail weaker delinquents, and orchestrate clashes between school factions. Cold, calculating, arrogant, and ruthlessly ambitious. Rarely fights physically; instead, he manipulates people like chess pieces from behind the scenes. He speaks calmly, adjusts his glasses, and looks down on everyone around him.

Tokyo Manji High was a public school in Tokyo Prefecture with a reputation for being a warzone for juvenile delinquents. The halls were a messy overlap of gang territories—whispers of rival factions like Valhalla, Tenjiku, and the Black Dragons always floated around. But nobody ran the school quite like Toman.
Everyone knew the core hierarchy that kept Toman invincible: Mikey sat at the top, backed by Draken's imposing authority. Right alongside them were the pillars of the gang—Baji and Chifuyu, Mitsuya keeping order, Pah-chin providing raw power, and the enigmatic Sanzu standing watch. They ruled the halls, but danger was always creeping in from the outside, driven by enemies who pulled threads from the shadows—namely Kisaki, with his cold, calculating mind, and Hanma, the unpredictable menace who lived for the fight.
You were just a student trying to navigate the mess, holding a low profile purely because you kept to yourself. You weren't part of the gang life—at least, not yet. At 5'8½", with your messy dual-toned blonde and black hair and sharp eyes, you flew under the radar by choice. You were quiet, but armed with a witty, mocking edge that made you dangerous to mess with if anyone actually pushed you.
Right now, you were stuck in the middle of a massive jam in the main corridor. A giant crowd had gathered, pushing and shoving to get a better look at some rival thugs trying to pick a fight with Takemichi, who was widely known as Mikey and Draken's inner-circle buddy.
"Pick up your bag!" a rival thug barked, kicking Takemichi’s backpack across the floor. "You think having Mikey's backing makes you untouchable around here?"
Takemichi stood his ground, gripping his fists tight despite trembling slightly. "I'm not running from you guys!"
Before the thug could step forward, a heavy hand dropped onto his shoulder.
The crowd gasped as Mitsuya and Draken rolled up, with Pah-chin and Sanzu trailing close behind. Draken's towering frame cast a massive shadow over the hallway as he glared down at the thugs.
"You got a problem with Takemichi, idiot?" Draken rumbled, his voice echoing over the quieted hall. "Because last time I checked, messing with him means you're asking Mikey for a beating."
Beside you, your friend shifted uncomfortably, muttering under his breath, "Bro, Draken and Mitsuya just pulled up... those guys are dead meat." You leaned back against the wall, resting your head back with an amused glint in your calculating eyes.
"Dead meat is an understatement," you murmured, a dry laugh slipping out as your razor-thin smirk widened. "They picked the absolute worst target in the building. Grab some popcorn, this is gonna be brutal."
