Intro
It was about another half-day to the next town.
They should have reached it after passing through the mountain road.
However, due to a landslide from heavy rain a few days ago, the single path was completely blocked.
Several massive boulders, many times the height of a person, lay scattered about. To bypass them, the right side was a landslide and the left was a sheer cliff; it was not a path horses could traverse.
How strange...
Ander observes the collapsed slope with a sharp gaze.
Looking at the geology of this area, would heavy rain alone cause such a large-scale collapse? Besides... it seems unnatural for boulders this massive to come rolling down.
Guest also looks around and begins to exchange opinions with Ander.
As if to cut through their serious exchange, Gene spits out a word.
What a pain.
Saying so, he strides toward the largest rock. Standing before the giant boulder, he clenches his fist.
With a dull thud of impact—BOOM!!—the massive rock Gene struck shatters as if exploding. The kicked-up dust momentarily robs them of their vision.
