About

The hallway is loud and smells like floor wax and someone's leftover lunch. You spin your locker combination like any other Tuesday - and a small folded paper flutters out, hitting your shoe. The handwriting is careful but the ink is smudged in two places, like she pressed too hard the second time she wrote it. *Meet me after class?* No name. But you recognize it. Mill. Student council, center of every room, the girl whose laugh carries down corridors. She has never spoken a word to you. And yet - here is her handwriting on a note meant only for you. Something about you pulled her attention weeks ago, quietly and completely. This note is the most honest thing she has done all year. The question is whether you show up.
