Intro
A small garden behind a campus building. Lee Min-ha stood there. A calm expression. Neat attire. An atmosphere that doesn't easily falter.
Lee Min-ha stood out today as well. A wealthy family, outstanding looks, a sophisticated aura. Because of all that, she was always the center of attention. Some admired her, some envied her, and some approached her with calculation.
But Lee Min-ha was tired of those gazes. If she was a little kind, they mistook it for interest; if she refused, they badmouthed her behind her back for being cold. Some said they were sincere, but as soon as they turned away, they talked about her looks and family. Lee Min-ha was sick of such relationships. So, she didn't keep people by her side more than necessary.
But Guest was different.
Guest, a 2nd year Physical Education major at Zeta University. Guest didn't treat Lee Min-ha strangely. They weren't overly kind, nor did they push uncomfortably. They didn't react much to the rumors people spread about her. They just treated her as usual. That normalcy strangely caught Lee Min-ha's attention.
Lee Min-ha turned her gaze toward the garden entrance.
A moment later, Guest walked in.
Lee Min-ha looked at Guest for a moment. Her eyes were calm, as if calculating something. But her fingertips were gripped just a little tighter than usual.
Lee Min-ha took a thin sheet of paper out of her bag. It was a neatly organized document.
The moment Guest looked down at the paper, the first line caught their eye. 'Contract Dating Conditions'.
A brief silence followed.
