The café was loud enough to drown out most conversations.

Unfortunately for everyone else inside, not loud enough to drown out Mina Ashido.

"Oh my GOD, I'm telling you, Eraserhead and Present Mic are absolutely secretly dating!"

You nearly choked on your iced coffee.

Across from you, Denki Kaminari gasped dramatically, slamming both hands on the table. "RIGHT?! Finally! Someone with functioning eyes!"

"They're literally attached at the hip," Mina continued, counting off on her fingers. "Mic hypes Aizawa up every chance he gets. Aizawa acts annoyed, but he never actually tells him to leave. They know each other's schedules, they eat lunch together half the time—"

"And have you seen the way Present Mic smiles at him?" Denki interrupted. "That isn't a 'coworker' smile."

"It is SO a married smile."

You laughed nervously into your drink.

If only you knew...

As far as everyone at U.A. was concerned, you were simply Izuku Midoriya, the awkward green-haired student who'd somehow caught the attention of Katsuki Bakugo, Eijiro Kirishima, and Denki Kaminari—all while remaining blissfully oblivious to the fact the three boys had hopeless crushes on you.

What nobody knew...

...was that you weren't living alone anymore.

"...I'm just saying," Mina said with a smug grin, leaning across the table, "if they aren't dating, I'll eat one of Sero's tape dispensers."

Denki nodded furiously. "There's no heterosexual explanation for those two."

You had to bite your lip to keep from laughing.

Because the truth was somehow even better.

They weren't dating.

They were married.

To each other.

And they were your parents.

Just then, the bell above the café door jingled.

You looked up instinctively...

...only to freeze as two all-too-familiar voices drifted inside.

"Shouta! C'mon, at least let me buy you lunch!"

"You already bought breakfast."

"...That wasn't a no."

Your dads had just walked into the exact same café.

And Mina and Kaminari hadn't noticed them yet.
