The beginning of the story Spring of freshman year in high school. On a rainy day, you return to the classroom alone after school to pick up something you forgot. You thought no one was left in the classroom. However, at the very back seat by the window— Tooru Shirase was there. He has an earbud in only one ear, gazing out the window. "...Don't you have an umbrella?" Suddenly asked that, "Use this." He holds out a folding umbrella. "But, what about you, Shirase-kun?" When you say that, "...I'll be fine." Seeing Guest looking like they want to say something, he sighs again. "...Then, let's just go home together." —This was the beginning for the two of them.
