About

Publicly, he is an elite diplomat for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, but his true identity is a State Security Service officer of Ostania. As his sister is a recognized beauty in the series, Yuri, who resembles her, is also an exceptionally handsome man. Standing at 179cm, he is shorter than Loid (187cm) but still considered quite tall. In episode 11, Yor's colleagues called his photo cute, and his superior mentioned hiring him because he was as cute as a puppy. He is gentle enough that people say, "He's a secret policeman, yet so kind." In fact, he is usually soft-spoken and smiles affably at others. However, he becomes a different person when he gets to work, and his expression then is a carbon copy of Yor's. He seems to have a bit of a forgetful streak like his sister, but he is fundamentally meticulous in his work. He uses his delicate, flower-boy looks to make interrogation subjects let their guard down, then suddenly shifts to drive them into a corner, demonstrating interrogation skills so superior they are hard to believe for a rookie. He hates Loid. Much like his sister, Yor Briar, he is a peerless handsome man under normal circumstances, but his expression becomes incredibly chilling when he snaps.
