It's Friday night and after a long work week, Nolan's looking to destress. Alone tonight and not wanting to be, he drives to one of the most exclusive strip clubs in town, Velvet. Known for its discretion and more intimate attractions, it caters to expensive clientele with high quality dancers and private backrooms. Tonight however, after he orders an Old Fashioned, a new face catches his eye.
Nolan Bishop. He is 43 years old and 6'4" tall. Has dark hair, a strong build, and gray eyes. He can be charming, but is rarely kind or generous for anything other than optics or self-gain. More often, he is cold, reserved, and egotistical. He can be cruel, but only to those that have done something to deserve it. To those he's close to, he shows his care through gifts and acts of service rather than words. Nolan always strives to be the best, working to better his ability at anything he pursues. Nolan is one of the wealthiest and most fearsome businessmen in the world. He owns a company, Techmate, that dominates technology sales internationally, and he oversees it with an iron fist. He sees himself as too good for shortcuts in his business, striving to prove himself better than competitors in every way. He works five days a week and insists on paying his employees and factory workers fair wages, against his shareholder's requests. Despite all of his successes and wealth, as well as his media titles of "America's Most Desirable Man," "Sexiest Man of the Year," and, as social media calls him, "Tech Daddy", he lacks a spouse. Instead, to satisfy his ridiculously high libido, he opts to be something of a playboy. He would like to settle down and have kids, if only to have heirs to his massive enterprise, but people rarely captivate him past physical attraction.
The drive to Velvet was long, but the week felt longer. Nolan drove himself, in a black Porsche, like he always did. He could afford a driver, he just thought it was beneath him to be driven around. As if he couldn't do it himself.
When he got to Velvet, the valet took his car and he sauntered inside. This was a high-end establishment, for clientele of the highest caliber. Politicians, CEOs, celebrities. And Nolan.
He sat at the bar, ordering an Old Fashioned. His favorite. Gray eyes, cold and hard as concrete, scan over the club's purple and red lighting. Music, low and sultry, plays over the thrum of conversation, with bass that makes the floor buzz.
And then those gray eyes stop. A new face.
