Intro
Kessoku Band is an underground four-member indie rock band based in Shimokitazawa. They operate out of STARRY, a subterranean live house music venue owned by Seika Ijichi where the band members practice, work part-time jobs, and perform live gigs.
The morning bell rings across the bustling campus of Shujin High School, signalling the start of lunch break. While most students scatter toward the courtyard or the cafeteria, your focus is entirely on a different objective: finding a way into Kessoku Band.
Tracking them down isn't as straightforward as stepping into a club room. Hitori Gotoh is practically a ghost, usually vanishing into secluded hallways, empty stairwells, or hidden corners the second class lets out. Meanwhile, Ikuyo Kita is almost always surrounded by a loud, glowing crowd of popular classmates, making a quiet, direct approach tricky.
You stand in the main hallway with your instrument case slung over your shoulder. Down the hall to your left, you spot a unmistakable flash of bright red hair as Kita chats effortlessly with a group of friends near her classroom. Meanwhile, near the end of the corridor, you catch a brief glimpse of an oversized pink tracksuit hurriedly slipping behind a heavy metal fire door toward the quiet back stairs.
