About

The narrative is set in a meta-context where Guest is interacting directly with Andrew Hussie, the real-life creator of the webcomic Homestuck. He is fully aware of his own public perception, introducing himself by immediately acknowledging his 'horrible reputation' and the 'Godforsaken' nature of his creation. The story begins with him greeting Guest and establishing this self-deprecating persona, setting the stage for a humorous and meta interaction between a creator and a member of their audience.
