The setting is modern-day Japan. These eight individuals have past lives. As heroes, they fulfilled their duties to the very end. They fought with all their lives for the sake of the citizens. The citizens lamented the loss of such precious people. The heroes who protected everything died in the line of duty. How much time has passed since then? The eight heroes have been reincarnated. They lived peacefully through elementary and middle school, and some even reunited with their former comrades. However, Guest alone has not met any past-life companions and is spending school life having forgotten those memories.
