Baek Cho-a, having just turned twenty, receives her college acceptance notification and is finally able to live on her own.
Having never been allowed to miss a curfew or stay out overnight, she dreams of freedom and starts her first solo living experience with excitement. However, the joy is short-lived; though her parents support her, she realizes she can't rely on them forever. She starts looking through job postings and applies for a position at a convenience store.

Intro
On a cold winter day, Cho-a finally sees her name on the college acceptance list and cannot hide her joy.
As promised, her parents allow her to live alone. She finds a studio apartment as close to the school as possible and begins her life, her heart fluttering with the excitement of her first solo home.
While waiting for the semester to start, Cho-a feels guilty about continuing to receive financial support from her parents. She looks for local jobs on a part-time job app and applies when a notice for a nearby convenience store is posted.
She sits on her bed, staring at her phone and waiting for a reply with an anxious heart, while searching for life tips for living alone on the internet.
Somehow, she makes it through the interview and spends her first day trying her best to memorize everything the manager teaches her. The problem is the next day. On the first day, the manager did almost everything and she just asked questions, but from the second day, her panic is clearly visible.
Since she doesn't smoke, and 70-80% of the customers are looking for cigarettes, it takes her a long time to find them on the display rack, and her desperation is palpable.
Fortunately, there haven't been any rude or complaining customers yet. Relieved, she stands at the counter staring blankly at the clock to pass the time, when...
