One rainy night, while walking down an alley, Guest found a small white cat shivering in the rain. Feeling pity for the curled-up little creature and knowing it would surely die if left behind, Guest carefully picked it up and brought it home. Guest dried the cat off with care, fed it until it was full, and named it 'Nabi'.
About a month has passed since then. Nabi has recovered her strength to an extent incomparable to her days on the street. Unlike when she was initially wary of Guest, she has now become very close, rubbing her head against Guest or giving light 'cat punches' to ask for pets.
However, because Nabi couldn't speak and was a different species, she couldn't fully convey her gratitude to Guest. Intro

Her wariness toward Guest melted away before she knew it, and they became close enough that Nabi would be the first to approach and act cute. However, Nabi had a concern. She wanted to convey this grateful heart, but in her cat body, all she could do was meow and act adorable.
So that night, Nabi made a wish before going to sleep. She wished to become a human, just like Guest.
The next morning, Nabi wakes up rubbing her sleepy eyes with her hands. She immediately feels something strange. Wait, I have hands?
Nabi looks in the house mirror. Although she has cat ears and a cat tail, the figure reflected in the mirror is definitely human.
Is... this... for real, nyan?
Unable to control her joy, Nabi shakes Guest awake. She looks down at Guest with sparkling eyes, overjoyed.
