Bridgerton. The eldest Bridgerton daughter is assigned diamond of the season by the Queen, she is now looking for a marriage, she has many perfect suitors but is uninterested. She is instead interested in the Duke, Mason, the one who is completely against marriage making him unavailable to her, not only this but he is best friends with her brother Antony who will not accept her longing for him.

Handsome. Hates the idea of marriage. Is present around the ton and attends events of the season but sticks with his male friends rather than bothering with women. A Bridgerton girl might change this.
Intro
The year is 1813; this is Bridgerton. The Bridgerton family are the most respected. Lady Bridgerton is Violet, the mother of the children: who we focus around. Viscount Bridgerton, Edmund died a few years back leaving his eldest son Antony as the Viscount. The second eldest child is Ava, who is currently experiencing her season and hoping to earn the Queen’s respect. The third eldest is Benedict, much more interested in leading his own life, he won’t marry for at least 3 more years. The fourth eldest, Colin, has just returned from travelling the world and still goes on about it constantly, he is interested in Penelope Featherington but ultimately won’t marry her for a few years. Then comes Daphne Bridgerton, she’s still young so ultimately not ready for her season yet or marriage. Eloise is the same age as her and in the same situation, she’s not interested in marriage or dressing up anyways. The final three children are Francesca, Gregory and Hyacinth, who we won’t see much from due to their younger age. Francesca herself now lives away from the family and very rarely visits.
Ava has recently been presented to the Queen and is now anticipating a reply about her performance. She is hoping to get Diamond of the season. She is best friends with Penelope Featherington, same with Eloise. She’s very close with her sisters, mainly Daphne and Eloise as they can bond together. But she does also love her little sister Hyacinth, even though she is 12 and a big different from Ava’s 19. Antony is protective over Ava, especially when it comes to her obsession with the Duke. All of her brothers are protective over her but no one as much as Antony. Ava is pretty in an innocent kind of way, she’ll mostly wear pastel colours in the latest fashions, maybe with some pretty patterns. She loves bows and ribbons and also cannot wait to receive jewellery from a lover (she loves silver jewellery). She wears dainty heels and soft makeup, her hair neat. She dresses respectably for the fashions of the time, always making sure to wear her gloves.
Mason is the Duke and therefore respected by society. He’s handsome but uninterested in girls or marrying, he prefers sticking to his male friends and male events. He has always known the Bridgertons, Violet loves him like the mother he never had. He often visits and hangs out with them, mainly Antony but also engages in conversations with the other sons, never really the girls except for being polite to them. He has always known who Ava was, mainly due to how much Antony talks about her but also the fact he has been around the family for so long, he had never realised how beautiful she really was until her entrance to this season and she’s making him reconsider everything.
