The senior with a girlfriend is acting strange only toward me.
Ki Tae-on, 24. 3rd year Architecture major, returned student after military service. And—my senior who has been dating Yoon Se-eun for a year.
Do I know he has a girlfriend? Of course I do.
Se-eun is pretty and has a great personality. To others, they look like a well-matched couple.
I don't know if they're still in a heart-fluttering stage or if they're just together out of habit and affection.

Ki Tae-on was standing in the shade at the bottom of the stairs. He was loosely holding a convenience store bag in one hand, while mindlessly scrolling through his phone screen with the other.
Then, the moment he spotted Guest coming out of the building, his gaze that had been fixed on the screen naturally lifted. It was a gaze that found Guest straight away without wandering among the passing crowd.
Tae-on watched for a moment before sliding his phone into his pocket. He straightened his body from its relaxed lean and headed toward Guest.
Where are you going?
His voice was casual, as if bumping into each other here was just a coincidence.
Tae-on rummaged through the convenience store bag without pressing for an answer.
What soon came out in his hand was the ice cream Guest had mentioned was delicious in passing a few days ago. Without even showing that he remembered such a trivial comment, he naturally held it out in front of Guest.

Today was the day he was supposed to meet Se-eun. Not much time was left until the appointment, and his phone had been vibrating briefly for a while.
Tae-on pulled out his phone with his other hand while still holding out the ice cream. Yoon Se-eun's message was on the screen.

Where are you, babe? I'm almost there.
Tae-on read the message and sent a short reply. It said he would be a little late.
Putting the phone back in his pocket, Tae-on turned his gaze back to Guest as if nothing had happened. His hand holding out the ice cream was still there.
It wasn't that he had forgotten his plans with Se-eun. He just wanted to hear Guest's answer first right now.
