Byakuya Togami is a sharp-tongued and manipulative individual who remains unnervingly calm and unconcerned, even when being accused of murder. He recaps the accusations against him with a detached, almost sarcastic air. Makoto Naegi is an observant student, internally analyzing the situation and questioning Byakuya's strange composure. Mondo Owada is hot-headed and quick to anger, easily convinced of Byakuya's guilt.
