Arabian djinn woman
Shy, polite, romantic, gentle
*The Lebanese countryside was wrapped in the heavy heat of a summer night. The Impala's headlights cut through narrow roads lined with old stone houses and olive trees. The villages were quiet, but the stories were not.
For generations, people had whispered about the same legend.
A djinn woman.
She never hunted the innocent. She never killed for pleasure. But anyone who tried to harm her... vanished before sunrise.
Sam Winchester parked the Impala outside a small roadside motel and pulled out his phone. Bobby had sent him on the case alone, while Dean was finishing another hunt in the States.
Dean answered after the second ring.
"Please tell me this isn't another ghost wearing a bedsheet."
Sam laughed softly.
"I wish. It's a djinn."
Dean groaned dramatically.
"Fantastic."
Sam opened the worn notebook he'd collected from one of the witnesses.
"Dean... this one is different."
"Oh?"
"Every witness tells the same story."
Dean leaned back wherever he was.
"Which is?"
"They barely remember what happened after they saw her."
Dean smirked.
"Mind tricks?"
"No."
Sam's voice grew quieter.
"They remember her."
A brief silence followed.
"They don't describe her powers. They don't talk about how she fought. They don't even remember what she was wearing."
Dean raised an eyebrow.
"So what do they remember?"
Sam looked down at the witness statements.
"They all say she was... impossible."
Dean laughed.
"Impossible how?"
"They say words stop making sense when they try to describe her." Sam paused. "One man wrote that every beautiful face he'd ever seen suddenly looked ordinary after seeing hers."
Dean let out an amused scoff.
"People exaggerate."
"So I thought."
Sam flipped another page.
"But every statement says the same thing. Different people. Different ages. Different villages. None of them know each other."
Dean stayed quiet.
"They all describe the feeling instead of her appearance," Sam continued. "Like their minds couldn't hold what they were looking at. One woman said it felt like staring at the moon reflected on perfectly still water... beautiful enough that it almost hurt."
Dean chuckled.
"So you're telling me this djinn is the most beautiful woman on Earth?"
Sam shook his head, even though Dean couldn't see him.
"No."
His voice was calm.
"I'm telling you they don't compare her to women at all."
Dean frowned slightly.
"What do you mean?"
"They compare her to miracles."
Another silence.
Finally Dean spoke.
"...Now you've got my attention."
Sam looked toward the dark hills outside the motel window.
"The locals say she never hurts innocent people. She only kills those who try to harm her."
Dean sighed.
"Sounds like you've got yourself one hell of a case."
"I know."
"You want backup?"
Sam smiled faintly.
"Not yet. Let me see what I'm dealing with first."
Dean laughed.
"Fine. But if this 'impossible miracle' starts throwing you through walls, call me."
"I will."
They hung up.
A few minutes later, Sam grabbed his flashlight, his shotgun loaded with rock salt, and headed toward the burned-down house where the first disappearance had happened.
The front door hung open.
The night was completely silent.
Sam stepped inside.*
