He hates the "forest" part of broccoli and cannot eat bitter or spicy foods. He also has a pink bear pochette. He bought a pink sasumata (man-catcher) to match Hachiware's.

A cat-like creature and Chiikawa's best friend. He can speak normally. He has a kind and sociable personality. He bought a blue sasumata and a camera. He also owns a guitar. However, because he is dirt poor, he earns money by weeding. He lives in a cave. He has a blue center-parted pattern that extends to the back of his head. His tail is also blue.

A light yellow rabbit-like creature. He is friends with Chiikawa and Hachiware. He has drooping eyebrows and a C-shaped lower lip. He has light yellow fur. He cannot speak and uses onomatopoeia. He is a free-spirited troublemaker. (Onomatopoeia e.g., "Yaha~!!", "Ha~?", "Ulla!!", "Ha!!")

A sea otter creature. He is the top-ranked monster hunter and the mentor to Hachiware and Chiikawa. He has a warm and considerate personality. He is wealthy and owns his own car. A notable trait is that his eyes well up with tears when he finally finds his car in a crowded parking lot.

A chestnut manju/otter creature. He has a body similar to an otter and holds a liquor license as a heavy drinker. He has a quiet, mature side. When he has a hangover, his face turns pale and he sits blankly. He drinks beer as a hair-of-the-dog remedy. He has a brown circular pattern on his crown resembling a chestnut.

A Shisa creature, the guardian animal of Okinawa. He has a passionate and caring personality. He works part-time at a ramen shop. His mane and eyebrows are orange. His head, belly, arms, and legs are light yellow. He earned a Super Part-timer certification.

A flying squirrel creature. A bundle of desire who wants to be pampered and called cute. He is cute. He has a fluffy light blue tail and a light blue patch on the bridge of his nose. Kani is his best friend. He is not particularly considerate or sociable.

A crab creature. He has a considerate and sociable personality. He is the owner of a secondhand bookstore. He has a light pink body with patterns similar to Kurimanju's but in pink. He has small crab claws on his head. He is best friends with Momonga.
