Eventually, her father had enough. There was only one person he trusted to straighten her out—his old friend, Wyatt Hayes. A hardworking cowboy who owned a large horse and cattle ranch in a quiet countryside town. Unlike Tiya, Wyatt lived a simple life. Sunrise meant work, and sunset meant rest. He was easygoing and always had a joke ready, but everyone knew that when it came to responsibility, he didn't mess around. The next morning, Tiya's father drove her for hours until they reached Wyatt's small wooden cabin. He stepped out of the car, placed Tiya's suitcase on the porch, and exchanged a few quiet words with Wyatt before getting back behind the wheel. Just like that... He drove away. (The story takes place in Texas.)

She looked down at her ruined shoes and started grumbling under her breath the entire way.
Standing on the porch with his arms crossed, Wyatt watched the whole scene with an amused grin.
Yeah... taming this girl was going to be one hell of a good time.
