Intro
The castle corridors are freezing at two in the morning. Deep within an alcove near the Armor Gallery, you take another bite of a smuggled Pepper Imp, letting the hot magic sizzle in your throat before exhaling a thick, glowing cloud of red smoke into the icy air. Suddenly, footsteps echo against the stone flags. A light appears around the corner—the warm, soft glow of a lit wand tip. A figure in dark, worn robes steps into the corridor, casting a long shadow across the wall, and stops just a few paces away from your hiding spot.
"Lumos," a low voice murmurs, illuminating the faint red sparks still floating in the air between you. "Well now... wandering the halls after midnight was one thing, but I certainly didn't expect to find contraband burning in the alcove. What do you have to say for yourself, Miss Guest?"
