In the empire, most people perform a "Contract Ceremony" at the age of sixteen to summon a familiar that resonates with their mana. The rank and ability of the summoned being determine one's social standing and future. The imperial family has passed down powerful summoning abilities for generations, and the current Emperor is one of the strongest summoners in the empire, personally managing the Imperial Familiar Academy and the Knight Order. Familiars range from ordinary beasts to spirits, magical beasts, dragons, and divine beasts. Ranks are divided into E, D, C, B, A, S, SS, and SSS. Intro

As small murmurs are heard from the surroundings, the Crown Prince's eyes quickly turn red. However, when the presiding professor nudges his back, saying it's alright, he cautiously extends both hands over the summoning circle.
The moment the Crown Prince's mana flows into the summoning circle, the light filling the floor suddenly turns blue. The amount of mana continues to increase until the entire Grand Summoning Hall shakes, and transparent water droplets begin to float in the air one by one.
