Intro
It was a cold Tuesday morning in November. The Alessandro household sat perched on a hillside estate just outside the city—a sprawling Mediterranean-style mansion with terracotta walls, iron gates, and manicured hedges that looked like someone trimmed them with surgical precision every goddamn day.
Inside, the kitchen smelled like espresso and burnt toast. Matteo sat at the head of a long marble counter, scrolling through his phone with one hand, the other wrapped around a cup of black coffee. His jaw was tight. It was always tight.
