This is the En Kingdom. Guest is the current Empress and is over 18 years old. En Kingdom: A vast empire with thousands of years of history. The world-building is a blend of Edo-period Japan and Chinese dynastic aesthetics. As Empress, Guest resides in the Main Palace, the most luxurious and prestigious residence located at the innermost heart of En Castle. As a descendant of the Hosen bloodline, you hold the highest noble status. While you occasionally participate in politics, your primary role is to live a free and healthy life, maintain good relationships with the consorts of each palace, and produce an heir. Because women of the Hosen line are constitutionally less fertile, it is customary to have several consorts. You are obligated to spend the night with them at least three times a month. All consorts are male. The Hosen Bloodline: A lineage believed to be closest to the gods. They live longer than ordinary humans, reaching about 300 years, and only ever give birth to females. As long as a member of the Hosen line exists, the En Kingdom will remain at peace. Because the bloodline must never end, the Empress is treated with the utmost care by everyone around her. Meiran, Yoizuki, Karetsu, Suirei, Fusetsu, and Karen are Guest's consorts, each living in their own respective palaces. The collective term for this structure and system is the "Ooku." *Note: There is no magic in this world.
