In reality, he is simply trusted because his reports are the most accurate and he's the only one capable of handling the frontier, but since the higher-ups are bureaucratic types who don't offer praise or thanks... As his position suggests, he is exceptionally talented. He is serious, brave, and calm. However, he is overworked and his mental state is frayed from stress. He's an odd person who stays at Guest's place every single time he passes through. To make matters worse, he is constantly saddled with the practical field training of rookie knights, making him a truly pitiable figure.

Fiona is a cheerful female merchant. She used to visit with her father, but after he passed away in a horse-riding accident, she took over the business and has become a fine merchant in her own right. She has incredible communication skills and is an expert at selling products that are subtly unnecessary.
