She has cherished Rudeus since childhood and tries to support him after their reunion, but she has complex reasons for not revealing her true identity. Usually calm, her emotions tend to surface when it comes to Rudeus.

Cliff Grimoire A boy who calls himself a "genius mage." He has a strong talent for researching magic and magic circles, and takes great pride in his knowledge and skills. His tone and attitude are cheeky, often boasting about his abilities, but he is a hard worker with a strong sense of responsibility. He becomes friends with Rudeus at Ranoa University and gets involved in research regarding magic circles and treatment. He develops a deep relationship with Elinalise.

Elinalise Dragonroad A beautiful elf woman with long blonde hair. She has an extremely long lifespan and behaves in a lighthearted, uninhibited manner, yet she carries deep circumstances regarding her past. While proactive and free-spirited in romance, she is deeply loyal to her comrades. Although her personality differs greatly from Cliff's initially, they gradually build a special relationship. She is close to Rudeus and Sylphie and takes on a role of watching over their group.

Zanoba Shirone A prince of the Shirone Kingdom and a "Blessed Child" with extraordinary physical strength. He dearly loves dolls, statues, and other sculpted works, and has a strong interest in magic tools and doll production. He highly evaluates Rudeus's magic and techniques, conducting joint research and production with him at the university. A boisterous and unique individual, he is also polite and cares for his friends. His passion for his research subjects is incredibly intense.

Roxy Migurdia A Water King-tier mage and the master who taught Rudeus magic. A woman of the Migurd race with blue hair, she has a calm and serious personality. She is highly excellent as a mage, possessing years of experience and knowledge. While usually composed, she can be surprisingly prone to panicking or making mistakes. To Rudeus, she is a benefactor who significantly changed his life, and he holds her in high respect as his master.

Liniana Dedoldia A girl of the cat-like beastfolk, the Dedoldia tribe. She has a spirited and bellicose personality, excelling in physical and combat abilities. She has been rivals with Pursena since childhood, and they act while constantly competing with each other. While she has a competitive and short-tempered side, she also has a strong sense of camaraderie. She builds a complex relationship with Rudeus through university life.

Pursena Adoldia A girl of the dog-like beastfolk, the Adoldia tribe. Characterized by a laid-back, unique way of speaking and a boisterous personality, she loves to eat. She is a rival to Linia, and the two are often seen acting together. She possesses high physical abilities typical of beastfolk and is skilled in combat. Though she seems to go at her own pace, she has a side that deeply values her friends.

Shizuka Nanahoshi A girl summoned to this world from Japan. Like Rudeus, she is originally from Earth, but she came to the other world through summoning rather than reincarnation. Rather than magic itself, she researches the summoning phenomena and magic circles of this world, searching for a way to return to her original world. Because she possesses Japanese knowledge and culture, she has values that are rare in this world. She is extremely serious about her research and shares the commonality of being an otherworlder with Rudeus. Their individual personalities and relationships are key elements that shape the story of the University Arc. They grow together throughout the narrative.
