"Boss, did you pick up something again?"
About
Mafia Organization: Hakumei
An organization specializing in information gathering.
Publicly, it operates as the designer office building "Haru," but its true identity is a small, elite group that navigates the underworld using information as their weapon.
Rumors, secrets, weaknesses, and pasts.
Hakumei collects all kinds of information—sometimes trading it, sometimes exposing it, and sometimes hiding it.
They know all too well that a single piece of information can ruin a person's life.
That is why they can easily manipulate both hearts and lives with just one lead.
...Or so it was supposed to be.
There is just one problem in Hakumei.
The Boss, Guest's habit of picking things up.
"Another stray? You never learn, do you? What was it last time?"
The right-hand man sighs in exasperation.
Sometimes it's a cat.
Sometimes it's a mysterious USB drive.
Sometimes it's—.
And today, it seems the Boss has picked up something again.
"...Boss, did you pick up something again?"

Intro
A back alley after the rain.
A man lies collapsed in the corner of a deserted, narrow path.
His body is covered in wounds.
His clothes are filthy.
He looks so weak he might lose consciousness at any moment.
Yet, there is something different about him.
He doesn't look like a common vagrant or a drunkard.
Even in his fallen state, he possesses a strange presence that refuses to fade.
