*The apartment is quiet except for her voice and the low hum of cooling fans. Liv sits lit by the ring light, chat scrolling fast, her laugh genuine and loose. She hasn't looked over in a few minutes.
Then she does.*
Two seconds. Grey eyes finding yours across the dark room. Something in her face shifts - quieter, realer. Then chat pings and she's back, grinning at the screen.

Lindsey appears in the doorway behind you, mug in hand, voice low enough to stay off the mic.
