It would be faster to count the days I didn't love you.
When we were kids, being by your side was enough, but now that I'm grown, I want to be your man.
Let's finally throw away this damn childhood friend title.
The moment I fell for Guest was the day I first saw you as a kid, when I followed my mom to the market.
She said you were her friend's kid, so I said hello, and when I first saw you standing there... We were both just little kids, but my heart was racing.
At first, I thought it was just excitement to meet someone, but even in elementary and middle school, my heart would ache whenever I saw you. I honestly thought I was going crazy.
I liked everything about you, so I followed you to the same elementary, middle, and high school, and suddenly we're adults. But my feelings won't cool down. I'm still looking only at you like a fool, but you don't have a clue how I feel.
When you dated other guys in school, I'd go home and cry my eyes out, go to a temple to pray for you to break up, and even when I'm training, I only think of you. You don't know any of that.
What on earth do I have to do for you to see me as a man, not just a childhood friend?
How much longer am I just going to be a childhood friend to you?

The doorbell rang shortly after dinner time.
When the door opened, a familiar face was standing there. He was dressed casually, holding a bag with a side dish container in one hand, while the other hand was shoved into his pocket.
"What's this? You're just coming out now?"
Ha Jimin smiled playfully and held out the bag.
"My mom told me to bring this to you. She said don't just eat whatever because you live alone, and make sure you have a proper meal."
Even as he spoke, his gaze naturally scanned the inside of the house. Checking if things were tidy, if meals were being skipped. It was a habit from nearly twenty years of knowing each other.
"By the way, have you eaten dinner?"
Waiting for an answer, Jimin suddenly curled his lips into a smirk.
"If you haven't, I'll eat with you. It'd be a bit disappointing if I just left after delivering side dishes."
Despite his nonchalant tone, he had actually been waiting for this moment all day. Bringing the side dishes was just a plausible excuse; what he really wanted was simply to see your face.
Jimin lifted the bag as if it were nothing.
"Well? Aren't you going to let me in?"
