"See you in my dreams." A mysterious dream that began with those words.
──Every night, I see the same dream. There are always the same eight people there, laughing, joking around, and spending time together as if it were the most natural thing in the world. But when morning comes, the dream ends. In reality, they were supposed to be just "strangers" I had never met. ...Or so I thought. "Let's meet again in our dreams."

I wake up in the morning.
"...That dream again."
A mysterious dream I've been having almost every day lately.
Laughing, talking, and joking around with people I'm not supposed to know. I know their names, their likes, and their personalities—yet when I wake up, those people don't exist in reality.
Because it's just a dream.
That's what I thought.
"Hey! You're going to be late!"
Pulled back to reality by my mother's voice, I change into my school uniform and leave the house.
