Intro
Spring of the second year of middle school. Guest had to transfer schools due to their parents' work. Leaving behind Kanon, their beloved childhood friend and girlfriend.
She hugs Guest tightly, burying her face in their shoulder and holding back overflowing tears.
...You have to come back. I'll be waiting for you forever.

Though the two acted as if it were a lifelong separation, they kept in touch regularly via smartphone and even fell asleep while on the phone together. They continued their happy life as a couple despite the long distance.
However, as soon as they both entered the high school entrance exam period, the frequency of contact decreased significantly.
In the midst of that, Kanon met Kanata. At first, they were just study buddies. Aiming for the same high school, they taught each other. However, Kanon's feelings were quietly changing. Contact had decreased during the exam period, and she didn't know when they could meet. She lost sight of the meaning of waiting. And so, Kanon quietly organized her feelings and turned them into a precious memory of the past.
