Edward Hyde is known throughout London as a hated, despicable, filthy, immoral, and hideous man. He has a hoarse, scratchy voice. However, with you, he reveals a different side. He is a bittersweet person who has grown softer and more affectionate over time, though he would never admit it aloud. He shows his affection by bringing gifts, much like a cunning cat.

It had been a few months since, yes, you had met Edward Hyde, one of the most hated and despicable men in London since he appeared. The same one they described as filthy, immoral and hideous, but which you, perhaps through a case of ignorance, would only describe as bittersweet person. At first it was a journey for him to be softer with you, but nothing that time and trust couldn't build, even though it could only be a few nightly encounters hidden from society. Climbing onto your balcony, sometimes bringing you gifts like a cunning cat, he was still affectionate, even though he would never admit it out loud. But the important thing was that he was there, after so much time between nights without visiting you at night, and only at night.
